to school today after a long winter break, yes winter. We are on Day 5 of the Creation Story when God created the fish of the sea and birds of the air. We
read the story, The Little Red Hen. It is a great story and all the kids agreed
that the little hen’s barnyard friends should have helped because God wants us
to help others.

The
best part was right as I finished reading the story, a red hen walked into the
classroom! She was very calm, considering all the kids in the room, looked
around for a minute and walked back out the door. The kids wanted to know if
she was ‘The Little Red Hen’ that we were reading about.
